DIY Holiday Coloring Sheet

Our coloring station is in the entryway of our house.  It's a nice, big, flat area, and I tape old work posters of John's upside down to the floor for Zephyr to color on.

Sometimes they rip,(like by the sled) but I just add some more tape and call it a day.

This is our current holiday one... I drew all the pictures with permanent marker, and labeled them.  :)

The marker is nice because it doesn't smear or fade, despite coloring over it or walking on it.

I think it should last us at least a month!

  1. This is Jenn Adrien from CWU. Was thinking about you today & remembered that you'd once commented on my now neglected blog, hence how I found you again. Glad to see that you're doing well & enjoying the fund sides of parenthood. Have a 3-year-old myself. Life is good. :) Best wishes to you & your family.

  2. Hi! Nice to hear from you! I check in on your blog once in a while too. :) I can only imagine that things will get crazier as she gets older. Glad that things are going well with you and family. Are you teaching your son any French? I tried with Z for a while, but it was mostly animals and vegetables; and she inexplicably says "oui" for yes right now. (which I've never taught her) Happy Winter!
